Adult Skills
Learn the Basics to Hockey Skating
Our Adult Skills class teaches the most fundamental part of the game of hockey; HOW TO SKATE! Skaters will focus on how to fall down, how to get up, basic forwards and backwards skating maneuvers, stopping, as well as more intermediate maneuvers like crossovers, edges, 3-turns and Mohawks. Ages 16+.
*Registration for full semester is only open until week 4 of current semester.
This class is offered through our Skating Academy. Full gear is NOT required and skate rental is included.​ Save money by enrolling in the "Full Semester".

Adult Clinic
Learn puck skills and gameplay
This clinic is great for beginner players who want to learn more about the game, plus intermediate players who need more time on the ice to master skills.​ We go over basic skills, game situation drills, skating and stick handling, and have a scrimmage at the end.
18+ and full gear required.

Pickup Hockey
Play drop in games for fun
Come out and play a fun scrimmage game in an organized setting, on a first come, first-served basis. Spots are limited to 24 skaters & 3 goalies. Age 18+ and full gear required. Goalies are FREE but must add their name to the roster via DaySmart Recreation.

Join Vacaville Ice Sports' Adult Hockey League to keep honing your hockey skills and enjoy the game! Our league welcomes adult hockey enthusiasts aged 18 and above. Whether you're a novice or an experienced player, we have a place for you in one of our three coed divisions: Bronze, Silver, or Gold.

To be part of our league, make sure you're registered with USA Hockey. We're always on the lookout for new players to bolster our ranks!​

The new season kicks off every 4 months, and we're open to new players throughout the season! For additional information, feel free to contact Greg!
Gold
High-level, fast-paced play for experienced players who have likely competed at a strong amateur or competitive level. Strong skating, positioning, and hockey IQ are expected.
Silver A
Skilled and competitive league with good pace and structure. Players are comfortable in all aspects of the game and may have prior organized or competitive experience.
Silver B
Intermediate level with a mix of developing and experienced players. Games are moderately paced, with a focus on improving skills and consistent play.
Bronze
Beginner-friendly league for newer players or those still developing fundamentals. Slower pace with an emphasis on learning, fun, and building confidence on the ice.
