Coach Tony Manino brings over a decade of coaching experience in Northern California to the Vacaville Jets Organization. He has been coaching in Vacaville since 2014 and became the Vacaville Jets Youth Travel Hockey Director in 2022. Tony is a USA Hockey Level 5 coach who has worked with players of all ages—from 8U to 19U—and skill levels, ranging from in-house programs to college and professional athletes. He has coached with Capital Thunder, Golden State Elite, and the Vacaville Jets, earning multiple titles including 2 NORCAL Championships, 2 CAHA State Championships, 2 PGHL Championships, appearances at the USA Hockey National Championships, and over 15 tournament wins. Tony focuses on player development, accountability, and fostering a team-first mentality while teaching life lessons that build character both on and off the ice. Some of Julian’s accomplishments include him mastering five triple jumps, and competing in numerous national qualifying series. Julian currently competes in Junior Men, and specializes in teaching jumps. He also has plenty of experience being a national qualifying series competitor, being a 5 time USFS Sectionalist. He is a 2020 sectional medalist and a gold medalist in moves in the field. He has participated in numerous training camps out of state, learning from some of the best skaters in the world such as Nathan Chen, Ilia Malinin, and other top tier coaches. Julian has extensive experience in coaching and was a coaching assistant for many years, in his time as an assistant he worked with beginner to advanced skaters, and even has experience with working special needs classes in the past. Julian’s goal is to help every skater accomplish their own personal goals, and share a love for the sport.
Kody has been with the Jets since 2012, starting with in-house programs and Mites. Over the years, he has coached several 14U and 16U teams, including the 14U State Champions in 2023. Now focused on 8U players, Kody’s goal is to instill a love for the game while teaching young athletes the value of hard work, teamwork, and enjoying the process both on and off the ice.
Dylan grew up playing hockey in San Diego with the SDIA Oilers and San Diego Gulls AAA programs before continuing at Colorado State University. With over a decade of coaching experience, Dylan has worked with players from 8U to 16U AAA, as well as junior and collegiate athletes. His teams emphasize defense, work ethic, accountability, and a team-first culture. Dylan’s coaching philosophy centers on effort, attitude, and attention to detail, fostering growth both on and off the ice. He also leads off-ice development programs and summer training challenges to keep athletes engaged year-round.


Sean Broderick
Phillip Royle
Sean grew up in New Jersey, playing for multiple teams before attending Westminster Prep School in Connecticut, where he was the starting goalie for two years. He went on to play NCAA Division 1 hockey at the United States Air Force Academy from 1997–2001, followed by professional stints in the ECHL and CHL. Sean also gained international experience playing and coaching in Germany, Luxembourg, and France. He has been coaching at all levels—including youth, high school, and college—since his college years.
Coach Phillip grew up immersed in hockey, beginning as a figure skater at age 2 before discovering hockey. He played competitively across California and even in Russia, excelling as a two-way center and competing in NorCal finals. After a hiatus due to quarantine in 2020, Phillip rediscovered his passion for coaching in 2022, giving private lessons and coaching youth hockey. Now in his third year of coaching, he focuses on teaching all positions, puck movement, and scoring techniques. His diverse playing experience across multiple clubs and countries, coupled with hundreds of hours coaching players of all ages, has equipped him to make a meaningful impact as a youth hockey coach.

Peter Sivak
Peter brings 20 professional seasons across Europe and North America to the Vacaville Jets. Beginning his career in Slovakia, he continued in the Czech Republic before playing in the ECHL and AHL in the United States. Peter represented Team Slovakia internationally, played 1,077 professional games tallying 639 points, and won two championships—with Dukla Trencin in Slovakia and the Alaska Aces in the ECHL. He earned ECHL Performer of the Year honors, was named to the ECHL First All-Star Team, and received the ECHL Sportsmanship Award. One of his memorable achievements includes scoring a goal just 4.08 seconds into a game. Peter also served as a player-assistant coach with the Tulsa Oilers.

Austin Trenner
Austin began coaching in Santa Barbara in 2018 while playing for the university hockey team, working with learn-to-play and adult clinics. He later coached with the SJ Jr Sharks for three seasons before joining the Seattle Jr Kraken. A lifelong hockey player, Austin competed in travel hockey from age six, played Division 2 ACHA at the University of Santa Barbara—winning a league title his freshman year—and competed in two national roller hockey championships. He is a USA Hockey Level 4 coach and recently led St. Francis High School to a state championship, the first Northern California high school hockey team to do so in over 20 years.
